Rowlett, Texas

Rowlett is a suburban city in Dallas County, on the eastern edge of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex about 18 miles east of downtown Dallas and adjacent to Garland. Much of the city fronts Lake Ray Hubbard, a large reservoir whose shoreline and marinas shape local recreation. Once a rural farming community, Rowlett grew rapidly in the late twentieth century into a residential city within the metro area.
