Rockwall, Texas

Rockwall is a city and the seat of Rockwall County, situated in the Dallas-Fort Worth region about 12 miles east of Garland along the eastern shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. The county takes its name from a buried natural rock formation resembling a wall that early settlers uncovered in the area. Once a rural farming community, Rockwall has grown into a lakeside suburb on the northeastern edge of the Dallas metropolitan area.
