Roman Forest is a small city in Montgomery County, in the wooded country north of Houston about 18 miles east of The Woodlands and 32 miles northeast of the city itself. It sits within the East Texas pine and hardwood forest that fringes the Houston metropolitan area, and is a largely residential community laid out among the trees.
