Robinson is a city in McLennan County in Central Texas, immediately south of Waco and roughly 43 miles northeast of Killeen. It functions largely as a residential community on the southern edge of the Waco area, set in the gently rolling blackland prairie of the region. The Brazos River corridor and the broader Waco metropolitan area shape the surrounding landscape.
