McLean, Texas

McLean is a small town in Gray County on the High Plains of the eastern Texas Panhandle, about 73 miles east of Amarillo. The flat farm-and-ranch country around it lies along the historic route of old U.S. Route 66, which passes through the community. A restored vintage gas station and a Route 66 museum in town recall that highway heritage.
