Howardwick, Texas

Howardwick is a small city on the High Plains of the Texas Panhandle, in Donley County about 56 miles southeast of Amarillo. It sits beside Greenbelt Lake, a reservoir on the Salt Fork of the Red River, in rolling shortgrass country near the edge of the Caprock. The lake shapes much of local life, drawing boaters and anglers to the otherwise open plains.
