Iowa Colony, Texas

Iowa Colony is a village in Brazoria County on the flat coastal prairie south of Houston, located about 12 miles south of Pearland and near the southern edge of the Houston metropolitan area. Once a small rural community amid farmland and open prairie, it has grown as suburban development has spread outward from the greater Houston area. Downtown Houston lies about 22 miles to the north.
