Ingleside is a city on the Coastal Bend of the Gulf Coast, sitting along the shore of Corpus Christi Bay about 12 miles east of the city of Corpus Christi. Long tied to shipping, energy, and the maritime economy of the bay, it has been the site of major port and naval-related facilities on the deepwater channel. San Antonio lies about 131 miles to the northwest.
