Brownsboro is a small town in Henderson County, in the wooded hill country of northeastern East Texas. It stands about 19 miles west of Tyler, on the western edge of the Piney Woods where pine uplands give way to bottomland hardwoods and rolling farmland. The community lies along State Highway 31 in a rural landscape of timber and pasture.
