Edcouch, Texas
Edcouch is a city in eastern Hidalgo County, in the flat farmland of the Rio Grande Valley known locally as the Delta area. It lies about 17 miles east of McAllen and grew up in the early twentieth century as an agricultural shipping town, moving citrus, vegetables, and cotton grown in the surrounding fields.
