Caddo Mills is a city in Hunt County at the western edge of Northeast Texas, about 26 miles east of McKinney. It sits in the rolling farmland and prairie of the region, a rural community that has begun to feel the outward growth of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex to its west. The city operates the Caddo Mills Municipal Airport, a general-aviation field serving the surrounding area.
