Bellevue is a small city in Clay County in North Texas, set on the rolling prairie and rangeland northwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, about 60 miles northwest of Denton. The community lies along U.S. Highway 287 in a sparsely populated ranching and farming region near the Red River country.
