Henrietta, Texas

Set in the North Texas prairie roughly 89 miles northwest of Fort Worth, Henrietta is the seat of Clay County. It lies in open ranching and farming country along the route of U.S. Highway 287 running toward Wichita Falls. The town developed around cattle and rail traffic in the late nineteenth century and remains a small trade center for the surrounding county.
