Veterans Park has fields and a memorial

Veterans Park and Athletic Complex is where much of College Station's organized sports happen. The visitor office counts 13 multi-purpose fields, five softball fields, batting cages, playgrounds, a pavilion, and wi-fi. The fields are lit for league play and tournaments.

Inside the same park is the quieter Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial. The 12-acre site honors veterans with statues, a Wall of Honor, interpretive panels, and individual memorial sites.

One park holds both a busy game day and a place for reflection. A family can come for a match and end up walking the memorial.
