Texarkana's lake park sits right at the edge of the A&M campus

Bowie County The Great Outdoors

Bringle Lake Park West is the active side of Texarkana's lakefront. It sits at 7602 Bringle Lake Road, beside University Drive near Texas A&M-Texarkana and Texarkana Golf Ranch.

The park is about seven acres. It has two fishing piers, a covered playground, sand volleyball, exercise equipment, and a pavilion over the water. The west park also starts the boardwalk toward Bringle Lake East.

That makes it a simple local loop: fish for a bit, let kids play, then walk the water. The city parks contact is Eddie Aulds at 903-798-3978 for pavilion booking or current park questions.
