Valley Mills is a small city in Bosque County in Central Texas, about 21 miles west of Waco along the Bosque River. It lies in rolling terrain at the edge of the Hill Country, in a rural area given over to farming and ranching. The town grew as a local trade and milling point for the surrounding agricultural district.
