McGregor, Texas
In western McLennan County on the edge of the Central Texas prairie, McGregor lies about 19 miles west of Waco and roughly 27 miles northeast of Killeen. The land rolls between blackland farm country and the Hill Country to the west. A large industrial rocket-engine testing facility operated by SpaceX sits on former testing grounds near the town.
