Tool, Texas
Tool is a small city in Henderson County, on the shore of Cedar Creek Reservoir in the transition country between the Dallas prairies and the East Texas piney woods. It lies about 50 miles southeast of Dallas, and its location along the large reservoir makes the area a center for lakeside living and recreation. The surrounding landscape mixes open water, woodland, and rural residential development.
