Texline, Texas

Texline occupies the extreme northwestern corner of the Texas Panhandle in Dallam County, at the far edge of the High Plains near the state's border. The land here is high, flat, and open, shortgrass prairie given over to wheat, grain, and grazing cattle. The town grew up as a railroad point on this stretch of the plains, and it lies about 106 miles northwest of Amarillo.
