Seadrift is a small city in Calhoun County on the Gulf Coast, situated on the shore of San Antonio Bay in the Coastal Bend region about 58 miles northeast of Corpus Christi. Bordered by bays, marshes, and coastal prairie, the town has long been tied to commercial fishing and shrimping in the surrounding estuaries.
