River Oaks, Texas

River Oaks is a small suburban city in Tarrant County, tucked just west of downtown Fort Worth inside Loop 820 on the northwest side of the metroplex. Only a few miles across, it is a compact residential community bounded by Fort Worth and served by the Castleberry school district. The town took its name from the oak trees along the West Fork of the Trinity River near the townsite.
