Petronila, Texas
Petronila is a small community in Nueces County, on the flat coastal plain of the Coastal Bend about 17 miles west of Corpus Christi. The surrounding country is open farmland and grassland typical of the region, drained by Petronila Creek, which runs through this part of the county. It sits well inland from the bay, in agricultural terrain rather than along the shore.
