Miles, Texas

Miles is a small city in Runnels County on the western edge of Texas farm country, roughly 18 miles east of San Angelo along U.S. Highway 67. The town grew up as a railroad stop, and the surrounding land has long been worked for cotton and other crops, giving it a farming and ranching character. It sits in flat-to-rolling country typical of the Rolling Plains.
