Mart, Texas
Mart is a small city in the eastern corner of McLennan County, on the Central Texas blackland prairie about 19 miles east of Waco. It grew up as a railroad and farming town serving the surrounding cotton and grain country, and it remains a modest agricultural community set among the open fields east of Waco.
