Mount Calm, Texas

Mount Calm is a small city in eastern Hill County, set in the blackland prairie and cropland of north-central Texas about 21 miles northeast of Waco. The terrain is gently rolling farm country, historically given over to cotton and now to grain, cattle, and hay. It is a quiet rural community well away from the interstate corridors that cross the region.
