Lovelady, Texas

Set in the Piney Woods of East Texas, Lovelady is a small city in Houston County roughly 63 miles northeast of College Station. The area is one of rolling timberland and small farms, with the Trinity and Neches river bottoms lying to either side of the county. It developed as a rural community along the railroad running through the pine forests of the region.
