Lake Bridgeport, Texas
In Wise County in North Texas, roughly 43 miles northwest of Fort Worth, Lake Bridgeport is a small city set among the rolling cross-timbers and prairie of the region. It takes its name from the nearby reservoir on the West Fork of the Trinity River, whose shoreline draws boaters and anglers. The community is largely rural and residential, oriented around the lake and the surrounding ranch country.
