La Vernia, Texas
Set along Cibolo Creek in Wilson County, La Vernia is a small city roughly 22 miles east of San Antonio at the western edge of the South Central Texas farm and ranch country. It grew as a rural crossroads community and today serves as a bedroom town for the San Antonio metropolitan area while keeping its small-town, agricultural character.
