Kerens, Texas

Kerens is a city in Navarro County, in the North Texas prairie country about 56 miles southeast of Dallas. The town lies in gently rolling farmland with a long agricultural history rooted in cotton and other row crops. Just to the south sprawls the Richland-Chambers Reservoir, one of the larger lakes in the state, which draws anglers and lakefront visitors to the area.
