Jersey Village is a small incorporated city surrounded by the Houston metropolitan area in Harris County, roughly 15 miles west of downtown Houston. It sits on flat coastal-plain terrain near U.S. Highway 290 and is largely a residential suburb. White Oak Bayou and its floodplain run through the community, which is otherwise enclosed by the broader expanse of greater Houston.
