Hurst is a suburban city in northeast Tarrant County, part of the densely developed mid-cities corridor between Fort Worth and the Dallas area. Together with neighboring Euless and Bedford it forms the area commonly grouped as the HEB communities, and it sits within the flat-to-gently-rolling terrain of the North Texas prairie.
