Hackberry is a small town in Denton County in North Texas, situated on the shore of Lewisville Lake a few miles from Frisco and roughly 13 miles from Denton. Much of its setting is defined by the reservoir's waters and inlets, and the town is largely residential and lakeside in character. It lies well within the northern reach of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
