Ferris, Texas
Ferris sits on the blackland prairie about 18 miles south of downtown Dallas, along the Interstate 45 corridor in the DFW / North Texas region. The surrounding area holds rich clay deposits, and the town has a long association with brick manufacturing, an industry rooted in that local clay. Farmland and small-town streets give way to the growing suburban edge of the metroplex to the north.
