Early, Texas

Early is a small city in central Brown County, in the transitional country where the Central Texas hills give way to the rolling plains, about 68 miles southeast of Abilene. It lies on Pecan Bayou just east of Brownwood, with which it shares a metropolitan area, sitting at the junction of U.S. Highways 67 and 84.
