Dell City, Texas

Dell City is a small farming town in the Salt Basin of northeastern Hudspeth County, in the desert country of far West Texas about 77 miles northeast of El Paso. It sits at the western foot of the Guadalupe Mountains, whose highest peaks rise just to the east. The town exists because of groundwater drawn from the Bone Spring-Victorio Peak aquifer, which turned former ranchland into irrigated fields of alfalfa, cotton, and other crops.
