Horizon City, Texas
Horizon City is a city in El Paso County, in the far western reaches of Texas about 18 miles east of El Paso. It sits in the high Chihuahuan Desert of the upper Rio Grande valley, spread across open desert terrain within view of the surrounding mountains. Developed largely as a residential community, it has grown into one of the suburban towns of the greater El Paso area.
