Danbury is a small city in Brazoria County, on the flat coastal prairie of the upper Texas Gulf Coast about 23 miles south of Pearland. The land around it is low and level, given over to farming, ranching, and the coastal plain that runs toward the Gulf. It sits within the broader industrial and agricultural belt of Brazoria County, inland from the barrier-island coast.
