Bee Cave, Texas

Bee Cave is a small city in the Hill Country of western Travis County, set among the limestone hills and oak woodlands west of Austin, about 13 miles from the city center. Once a rural community, it has grown into a suburban and retail center along Texas State Highway 71, near the shores of Lake Travis. The surrounding terrain of steep ravines and cedar-covered slopes is characteristic of the Balcones Canyonlands region.
