Agua Dulce, Texas

Agua Dulce, whose name is Spanish for "sweet water," is a small town in Nueces County about 30 miles west of Corpus Christi, taking its name from a nearby creek. It sits in the Coastal Bend's inland farming country, a mix of cropland and rangeland where an early-twentieth-century oil boom also left its mark on the local economy.
