How to protest your Parker County appraisal
A value notice is not the last word. If the value looks too high, the record has the wrong details, or an exemption is missing, file a protest. The usual deadline is May 15 or 30 days after PCAD mails the notice, whichever is later.
PCAD asks owners to file protests online through parkercad.org. Bring useful evidence: nearby sales, photos of damage, repair bids, or records that show the account is wrong. An informal meeting can happen before a formal ARB hearing.
If there is no agreement, the case goes to the Appraisal Review Board. PCAD links its ARB hearing guide and request forms from the protest page. The district office is at 1108 Santa Fe Dr. in Weatherford.
