Williamson County Offers Monthly Property Tax Prepayments

If the January property tax bill is hard to absorb all at once, Williamson County offers scheduled monthly prepayments. The county pulls a set deposit from a card or bank account and applies it to the tax account.

The plan has rules. The account needs no current or prior balance, an online profile, a valid email address, and a fresh enrollment each year. Deposits run through September, and the remaining tax is still due by January 31.

This is most useful for owners without a mortgage escrow who still want to spread out the bill. Confirm the plan terms, because the final tax amount is not known until the bill is prepared.
