Ector County Health Checks Restaurants, Pools, Septic, and Events

The Health Department office at 221 North Texas in Odessa checks many public-facing projects. Its environmental health work covers restaurants, pools, septic systems, public events, complaints, permits, inspections, and enforcement.

A food truck, cafe, pool, or festival booth is more than a lease and a logo. Food follows the Texas Food Establishment Rule. Septic work follows Health and Safety Code Chapter 366 and TAC Chapter 285. The county ordinance sits on top.
