Ector County Permits Start in the Online Portal

Ector County Rules & Licenses

A barn, shop, subdivision, or manufactured-home setup on county-side land usually starts at Ector County Development Services. The office is at 1010 East 8th Street, Suite 114, in Odessa.

The permit portal is now the front door. The county page also links the 911 address form. It also has subdivision rules, mobile-home rules, groundwater papers, game-room forms, and no-zoning letters.

That portal is not every approval. Septic, health, fire, and city permits can still be separate. If the link stalls, call 432-498-4241 before you pour concrete or move a home onto the pad.
