Confirm the food-permit desk before signing the lease

San Angelo permits restaurants, stores, bars, food trucks, and event booths. Tom Green County also has a health office. The two public pages do not show every edge of their service areas on one map.

Give both offices the street address before signing a lease, buying a trailer, or booking an event. Ask which office takes the form. Also ask whether building, fire, sewage, kitchen-base, or event steps come first.

For city permits, San Angelo prorates the fee and ends every permit on January 31. A late-year opening may put renewal close behind the first permit. Add that date to the opening budget.
