County Parks Reach Beyond Central El Paso

El Paso County's parks system grew from Ascarate Park, but it reaches well beyond central El Paso. Today it includes rural parks, the County Sportspark, and pools serving valley communities such as Canutillo and Fabens.

That matters in a hot, spread-out county. Not every family lives near a City of El Paso park or wants to drive downtown for a playground, swim, ball field, picnic, or community event.

Use the county Parks and Recreation page to find the park, pool, rental, or event site near you. A small rural park may not have the same hours or features as Ascarate.
