Voting by Mail in Polk County Starts With an Application
Texas mail voting starts with eligibility. Common reasons include being 65 or older, sick or disabled, out of the county during voting, expecting to give birth near Election Day, or confined in jail but still eligible.
The application has to reach the Early Voting Clerk by the 11th day before Election Day. Polk County lists the mailing address as 101 W. Mill Street, Suite 265, Livingston. You can also send it by fax or email.
Fax or email does not replace the paper copy. The original must also arrive by mail within four business days. The application needs a Texas driver license, state ID, election ID, or the last four digits of your Social Security number.
