Corrigan is a town in Polk County, deep in the East Texas Piney Woods about 69 miles northeast of The Woodlands. It developed as a railroad and lumber town amid the surrounding pine forests, and the timber and wood-products industry has long anchored its economy. The town sits at the junction of U.S. Highways 59 and 287 in the heart of the region's working forestland.
