Todd Mission, Texas

Todd Mission is a small city in Grimes County, set among the wooded rolling country west of the Houston metropolitan area, about 23 miles west of The Woodlands. It is best known as the home of the Texas Renaissance Festival, a large seasonal Renaissance fair held on a sprawling site along Farm-to-Market Road 1774 that draws crowds each autumn. Away from the festival grounds, the area remains rural, with pastureland and pine and hardwood woods.
