Springtown, Texas
Springtown is a city in Parker County, west of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, lying about 25 miles northwest of Fort Worth in the transitional country where the Cross Timbers meet the rolling prairies of North Texas. The terrain mixes wooded low hills, oak stands, and open pasture, and the area has long been ranching and rural farmland now increasingly drawn into the outer edge of the metroplex. It anchors a small agricultural community that has grown with the region's expansion.
