San Patricio, Texas
San Patricio is a small city in San Patricio County, on the coastal plain of the Coastal Bend about 25 miles northwest of Corpus Christi. It stands on the site of one of the early Irish colonies established in Mexican Texas, and the county carries the same name, drawn from Saint Patrick. The surrounding country is level brush and farmland near the Nueces River.
